Applicants who are denied admission have the right to appeal to the MSW Admissions Committee Chair of the School of Social Work who will, if appropriate, make representation to the Dean of the Graduate School. All appeals must be submitted in writing. Representation may also be made on behalf of disadvantaged applicants such as members of underrepresented minority groups or those with physical disabilities who are able to demonstrate their ability to undertake graduate work.
