Academic Programs

Leading others in the field of social work not only takes a certain degree of passion, but also preparation to meet the demands of the profession. Because the practice of social work will challenge you to manage limited resources without sacrificing the well-being of your clients, our curriculum in social work has been designed to give you an edge beyond your undergraduate training by transforming you into someone that can formulate, develop and implement comprehensive follow-thru skills to make a difference not only in the lives of your clients, but also in your community. As a unique graduate student in our program, you will become an active voice for the vulnerable members of our community empowering them to face their conditions with more than courage alone.

While there are many personal rewards with this profession, it is also important to know what the opportunities in this field are. Unfortunately, satisfaction alone can’t help you live a productive life. However, the profession of social work may meet for both your personal and career needs.

We are all here to help you in your journey. For this reason, we have redesigned the website to help you find the information you need. We also have many other ways you can reach us. Please free to contact us.

Sincerely,

Denise Chiasson, MSW, LCSW,
